Roper Electric at Sounds of Summer

Roper Electric is a band of brothers educated in music by a father who spent his life chasing dreams, building guitars, raising a family of 12 and not settling for the conventional life the "American dream" had to offer. With the constant tick of the sound of the banjo, ever in the background of daily life, they were inspired to make music as a way to be heard and to bring to their audience the lessons that they have found so important to survival in the world as we know it. Roper Electric is comprised of 5 of the 13: Dylan - Singer/Songwriter, guitar; Isaac - Saxaphone; Andrew - Bass; Simon - Drums; and Joseph - Piana, Singer/Songwriter.

Roper Electric is a blend of rock, jazz and a hint of bluegrass here and there which makes for a performance that is energizing. The Ropers hope to inspire their audience to dance and to live with a better understanding of the nature of God and hope in day-to-day life.
