Sammi Moore at Sounds of Summer

Born and raised in a small town just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee, an athlete, and a self-admitted tomboy, Sammi Moore didn't always know she wanted to be a singer. Sammi grew up in a family of musicians, but did not even consider music an option until a string of talent competition wins she did for scholarship money. Sammi then started playing country and bluegrass music around Tennessee and was quickly noticed by RCA records. Soon after, Sammi broke into the Nashville music business by placing top 12 in season 5 of USA Network's Nashville Star. Now, a six-year Nashville resident with countless shows and sessions under her belt, Moore is taking her career to the next level.

Moore describes her signature sound as a hybrid of country, americana, and southern rock. "CCR meets Skynyrd meets Sugarland." "You won’t see me standing around on stage. It's real and it’s raw." Because she pours her soul into each song, a Sammi Moore show is an unmatched experience as each performance exudes her true passion and calling for music.
