Ring Out and Wash Off 2020 on Pensacola Beach this New Year

Ready to say goodbye to 2020? The Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce invites one and all to “Ring Out and Wash Off 2020” from the sugar-white sands of Pensacola Beach this New Year with the New Year’s Eve Firework Display and the annual Polar Bear Plunge.
This New Year’s Eve, keep your eyes focused on the Pensacola Beach sky at the stroke of midnight. The Pensacola Beach Chamber invites you to “Ring Out 2020” with a dazzling, colorful firework display from the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk overlooking the Santa Rosa Sound.
The following day, “Wash Off 2020” and plunge feet-first into 2021 (and the Santa Rosa Sound) at the annual Polar Bear Plunge. Every year, hundreds of dippers and spectators – many dressed in costume – flock to the beach on January 1st to participate in this long-established tradition. New this year, in order to practice effective social distancing, the Polar Bear Plunge will take place simultaneously at TWO LOCATIONS:
Paradise Bar & Grill – located at 21 Via De Luna Dr.
Red Fish Blue Fish – located at 5 Via De Luna Dr.
Registration at both locations begins at noon. The fee is $15 cash per person and participants will receive a Polar Bear Plunge t-shirt (sizes S-XXL available). For more info go to pensacolabeachchamber.com.
